Charlie's Diablo Game Trainer
    Beta 1.03b   3/5/00
=============================

Iknow what you're thinking....another trainer??

Well, This program does quite a bit more than your basic
trainer. Like all Diablo trainers, it will let you Save
and Restore your items and your characters.

This program offers a character AND item editor, all in
one. When I get the free time, I will document just what
everything does, since it might be a little confusing for
some.

****1.04****
Hopefully fixed that stupid bug once and for all. Now when
you OK it, the life and mana values get written to the BASE
original values and not both the base original and base
current. Game didn't like me fully restoring your character's
HP and MP like that I guess.....lol

Added a small menu on the Character Workshop window that allows
you to quickly ID and spell recharge all your items.

****1.03b****
This whole update was a lie...lol

****1.03a****

Fixed the check to delete CHA files after you restore from
them. It worked when you used it, but it was supposed to
remember.

Made the trainer read the class names from memory, so the
class names will appear as they do in the game.

Removed the 'X' closing buttons from the dialog windows.
If you can't figure out how to close the window down, press
Escape.

Added a color scheme changer, the only "option" in the new
menu so far. Ugly interface, you can enter any number from
0 to 255 to determine the degree of shade for the color.
255 is a brighter color than, say, 40. I do not know how to
redraw the windows at runtime, so you must shut down the
trainer, then reload it. Program will remember the color
settings as well.

BTW, the trainer 'remembers' things with the .ini file.
You can alter the .ini file directly through Notepad if you
so desire.

****1.03****
Alrighty, fixed that bug with the ground item pick up code.
Won't go into detail on what it was.....if you used this
program, chances are, you've seen it, and started cussing me
out.  ;-)

Sped the program up a great deal for those who do NOT play
mods. Using DiabloSight/Saver will make the trainer think
you're playing a mod, so beware.

****1.02b****
Added a disclaimer check. If I can find out
how to check for games running in BattleNet and not just MP
in general, I'll make the trainer do something sick to your
character...hehehe.  Maybe not....
So don't use it on BattleNet!!!!

********************NOTE!!!!********************************
If you are running on a slower CPU or have only 16 MB of RAM
like me, this program will run pretty slow in Multiplayer.
The loading of the character and item edit screens will be
noticeably slow, and the loading of the Monster Viewer a
pure hell.  Sorry about this....

Shop Thief
==========

As some of you might know, I created a program that would
let you view the shop lists and save those items to an ITM
file. Well, that was a bit of a pain when you really
wanted it...saving it to an item file, then importing it
onto your character with another trainer. Not anymore!!
Now you can have the item moved directly into your
inventory...as many times as you wish! Stealing an item
like this is, of course, cheating, so you might as well
auto dupe while you're at it...hehe.
Also threw in the ability to edit these items as well....
Create your own item, then take a screenshot of Wirt trying
to sell you a Demonspike Coat or something...mwaha!

Monster Editor
==============
OK, what this thing does is allow you to view and edit the
monster stats in the current dungeon. Give Diablo a lot more
HP, or bring him down to 10 or so...Mwahaha.
I plan to make it remove already killed monsters to make the
list easier to navigate.
Also tells you the total number of monsters on the level, and
how many are still alive.

****1.02 update****
Right clicking in the black background will update the monster
counter at the top

Difficulty Editor
=================
OK, plain and simple, DO NOT use this with other players unless
they use it as well or just don't give a damn about what might
happen! Start a game with any difficulty, and then change it
with this before going down the dungeon....the level becomes
just like it would be in the new difficulty! Play Hell
difficulty with a level 15 character!.
Changing the difficulty while you are already in the dungeon
will boost gold drops  :-)

Ground Items
============
Pick up items lying on the ground and add them directly to your
inventory, or save them to an ITM file. Hopefully got all the
bugs out of this portion of the trainer. I am not finished with
this portion!!!

Future Updates....
* Item graphics
* DAT file support
* Monster Import/Export (worth a try)
* Checks for values that are too high for certain stats...
  because of the lack of checks, use this program at your
  own risk!!!
